Tariff:
We are introducing a new tariff for narration fees in the Autumn of 2007 to meet client requirements for a more flexible pricing system. Previously, there was only a single charging rate of DKK 4.500. All prices are standard. We have now introduced 3 fee categories which means that very small jobs can be done more cheaply. Note than some narrators are only available at Category 3.
Non commercial narrations
Category 1 : DKK 2,500 (EUR 335)
30 minute studio session / 3 minute project narration for:
• Information
• e-learning
• narration for client meetings
Category 2: DKK 3,500 (EUR 470)
1 hour studio session – up to 6 minute project narration for:
• Information
• Elearning
• Voice response for internal use
• Large screen projects for small audience
Category 3: DKK 4,500 (EUR 610)
2 hours studio session for:
• Information
• e-learning
• Voice response for Internet or large systems
• Large screen projects
• for sessions more than two hours,(DKK 1,000 per additional hour.
Commercial narrations for TV, radio and Internet.
One year of broadcast rights is included in the price of commercial narrations.
Category 1 : DKK 2,500 30 minute studio session
• Animatics – samples for advertising spots that are not for broadcast.
Category 2: DKK 3,500 (EUR 470)
• Adverts for Local TV or Radio
• Fairs and exhibitions
• Regional TV spots for 12 months
• Instore video
Category 3: DKK 4,500 (EUR 610)
• National TV spots
Charges for TV spots in English for Australia, USA, UK, Canada and New Zealand are individually arranged. Typical fees are from DKK 12,000 – 75,000 depending on the narrator and number of TV channels/countries involved.
Buying of several rights at the same time
Purchasing additional rights:
Advertising spot for TV and Internet: DKK 5,700
Advertising spot for TV and store video: DKK 5,700
Advertising spot for TV/Internet and store video: DKK 6,900
Cut-downs: 50% of the original spot fee
Discount for several TV spots at the same session.
Narrations for several spots in the same session for the same client: DKK 4,500 for the first spot and 50% discount for each following spot.
Discount for more extensive series of TV spots
A volume discount contract is available for narrations of series of TV spots in a defined timescale.
The typical minimum fee is DKK 2,500 per spot, depending on the number involved.
A sliding scale discount is also available for the more spots that are narrated in the same session:
• spot 1) -DKK 3,500
• Spot 2) - DKK 1,750
• Spot 3) - DKK 1,600
• Spot 4) - DKK 1,400
The legal bits – about our liability
The Speakerbureau is liable for ensuring that narrators speak correctly, using the standard pronunciation of the language concerned - or an approved regional dialect if required. They will not have a foreign accent.
Clients are advised to listen to the voice samples on our website before arranging narration.
Errors due to narrators will be rectified free of charge. A fee normally of 50% of the original will be charged for other changes or revisiting the narration.
Clients are themselves responsible for ensuring that their clients have heard and approved our narrators’ voice samples. What your hear is what you get. Complaints that a narrator has not lived up to expectations will only be entertained if the narrator concerned has not spoken using standard approved pronunciation or if the narration fails to meet professional standards and differs unacceptably from the voice sample.
The problem may then be tackled by making a correct renarration or by refunding narration fees. In the event of failure of the client and the Speakerbureau to agree, an official interpreter (for foreign language narrations) will be consulted to assess the narration.
The liability of the Speakerbureau shall be limited to the studio/narration fees payable by the client.

Services.
We have many years of experience in language localisation and booking narrators. We know what our clients need and the quality of our narrators which enables us to advise clients so they get the right narrator for their projects.
Good results depend on a review process to turn written documents into scripts ready for narration – and professional translation where required. These services are much appreciated especially by those of our clients who are new to this part of the business.
We are not the most or least expensive on the market. We do not try to compete on price but we do provide clients with personal service and the greatest possible confidence in achieving good professional results.
